Note that style is a separate and unrelated choice to your Symbol. The "Diversity of Thought" precept determines which of these gives a mood bonus (or malus).įor reference, a single column or small sculpture is enough to provide 10 impact, provided you have at least one style that affects sculptures or furniture. If the total impact of styles not shared by a pawn's ideology is 10 or more, they will have 'diverse' thoughts. If the total impact of styles within 27 tiles of a pawn is 10 or more, they will have 'uniform' thoughts. The beauty bonus of floors, floor decoration, and statues can all stack on the same tile. Like Grand Sculptures, they only add beauty to a single tile closest to a pawn. The 4x4 costs 150 resource, adds 40 Style Dominance, and 30 beauty. The 3x3 costs 100 resource, adds 30 Style Dominance, and 15 beauty.

The wood and metal variants don't recquire any research to build, making it possible to rush titles in the early game. Note that the stone floor variants are the cheapest at about ~36 silver per tile, making them desirable if you are managing your wealth. The stats of floors are otherwise identical to vanilla fine flooring, including the 20 resource cost, 3 beauty (4 for carpet), with the only addition being a Style Dominance of 1. The Morbid carpet is just as flammable as regular carpet. Note that all "wood" floors added have the same stats as stone, including 0% flammability but are slightly flammable.
